Position Summary

The Wideman Company is seeking a creative, results-driven Director of Marketing & Communications to own marketing, brand and communications strategy across the company and its affiliated brands and platforms.

This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for a marketer ready to take the next step in their career and own a marketing function end to end. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you'll set the strategy and personally drive the work that brings it to life. You'll write, build, launch and measure, and engage outside partners when specialized expertise is needed.
You'll work across multiple audiences, from institutional partners and tenants to individual investors, with each needing a distinct voice and approach. The right person is energized by variety, builds structure where it doesn't yet exist, and is as comfortable presenting to leadership as launching a campaign.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Brand
•    Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies aligned with company objectives, partnering with internal teams to translate business goals into effective campaigns.
•    Own the marketing calendar, priorities and deliverables, and maintain the project management processes that keep initiatives on time and accurate.
•    Lead brand strategy and management across multiple brands, keeping each distinct and consistent across digital, print, property-level and customer-facing materials.
•    Support brand evolution, positioning and rebranding initiatives as business needs change.

Digital & Demand Generation
•    Plan, build and launch integrated campaigns across email, paid media, social, web and content, including SEO/SEM, retargeting, landing pages and audience acquisition.
•    Develop investor-focused marketing and acquisition programs, including digital campaigns, lifecycle communications and conversion optimization.
•    Build and manage email marketing, audience segmentation, nurture campaigns and automated CRM-driven communications.
•    Manage company websites and digital channels, including content updates, optimization and coordination with internal and external technology resources.

Content & Communications
•    Write, edit and produce content across websites, social media, email, presentations, collateral and press releases.
•    Develop social media strategy, and plan, create, schedule and publish content.
•    Support public relations, media relations, executive communications and thought leadership initiatives.

Events & Business Support
•    Plan and execute events, activations, sponsorships and partnerships.
•    Provide marketing support for properties, business development initiatives and other strategic projects.
Measurement, Budget & Partners
•    Establish marketing KPIs and provide regular performance reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
•    Manage the marketing budget, evaluating spend based on performance, business priorities and return on investment.
•    Manage relationships with agencies, designers, photographers, media partners and freelancers.
•    Partner with Technology on marketing platforms, CRM, automation and AI-enabled tools, and stay current on emerging platforms, trends and changes in audience behavior.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
•    6+ years of progressive marketing experience, including time at the Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager level.
•    Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategy while remaining actively involved in execution.
•    Strong experience across digital, content, email/CRM, social, brand and analytics, including integrated campaigns across multiple channels, audiences and brands.
•    Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
•    Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, audience segmentation and lifecycle marketing.
•    Working knowledge of paid digital advertising, SEO/SEM, website management and conversion optimization, with a track record of using data to demonstrate return on investment.
•    Experience managing agencies, vendors, freelancers or other external marketing resources.
•    Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and independently drive initiatives forward alongside senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience supporting brand positioning, brand evolution or rebranding initiatives.
•    Experience marketing in a regulated industry and working within compliance review processes.
•    Experience in commercial real estate, financial services, hospitality, consumer marketing or another multi-audience environment.
•    Familiarity with AI-enabled marketing tools and emerging marketing technologies.

What You'll Bring

You're a marketer who enjoys developing the strategy and doing the work. You'd rather build the campaign than delegate it, and you know when to bring in agencies or freelancers to extend your capacity. You move easily between audiences, brands and priorities, and bring strong judgment, creativity and a data-driven mindset.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

•    Full-time, onsite position based in the company's Orlando, Florida office.
•    Ability to travel as needed to support events, properties and business initiatives, with occasional work outside standard hours.

Benefits

 | •    Medical, dental, and vision insurance. •    401(k) with company match. | •    Paid time off and holidays. •    Professional development support.
